Dedicated to helping every child communicate with confidence and joy
RCSLT & HCPC Registered
I'm Julia, a qualified and HCPC-registered speech and language therapist with a genuine passion for helping children find their voice. After graduating with a first-class degree in Speech and Language Therapy, I have worked across NHS and private settings, supporting children aged two and a half to ten years across a wide range of communication needs.
I founded Little Sound Stars because I believe every child — no matter their starting point — deserves expert, caring support to communicate with confidence and joy. I bring warmth, creativity and a heartfelt love for working with children to every session.
Based in beautiful Hertfordshire, I work closely with families, schools and other professionals to ensure each child receives joined-up, consistent support wherever they are.
Everything we do is guided by the belief that every child is unique, and that therapy should feel natural, joyful and genuinely family-centred.
Play is a child's natural language. We embed therapy goals into activities children genuinely enjoy, making sessions engaging and effective without feeling like work.
Clear, measurable goals set together with families mean everyone knows what we're working towards — and can celebrate every step of progress together.
We work closely with schools, nurseries and other professionals to ensure a consistent, joined-up approach wherever your child spends their time.
Regular reviews and standardised outcome measures help us track progress transparently, so families always know how their child is developing.
These values shape everything we do, from the first phone call to every therapy session and beyond.
We treat every family with genuine warmth, respect and compassion — because navigating communication difficulties can be an emotional journey.
We continually update our knowledge and skills through professional development to offer the highest-quality, evidence-based care to every child.
Parents and carers are our most valuable partners. Therapy works best when everyone — family, child and therapist — is working towards shared goals.
Every child deserves access to expert support. We are committed to welcoming children of all backgrounds, needs and abilities.
Honest, clear communication with families about progress, goals and next steps is fundamental to everything we do.
Learning to communicate should be joyful. We believe that when children are happy, engaged and having fun, growth follows naturally.
